Houston went into this game in 3rd position and wanting to take the full 3 points to keep the pressure on Paris. However Spartak came into this game full of confidence due to the very poor home form of Houston who have only taken 4 points from a possible 15. Alas for Houston their bad home form continued due to a 35th minute strike. All was not peachy for Spartak as they lost their new signing McShafty for 3 weeks. Houstons Lihhma is also out for 2 weeks which adds to the fecal matter that has been dumped on Houston this weekend. |

2nd played 9th in what should have been a regulation win for the home playing Paris. Pasmaters however proved to be stiffer opposition than most people would have expected, and in fact led at halftime 2-1. Unfortunately for Pasmaters the wheels fell off in the 2 minutes between the 48th and 50th with goals from Orr and Nixon allowing Paris to take the points. Paris did however pay quite a price for the win losing Polla suspended for 2 weeks, Sonetti injured for 2 weeks and Albert also injured for a week. The stopping increase Van-Damme is welcome, also the correct skill increase for the veteran Sutton will also be celebrated. |

Frogner, a team that has yet to get above 6th position this season played Api a team that has been as high as 3rd and as low as 10th. Another interesting stat is the fact that Frogner is the only team not to win at home this season, and well, after this game they still haven't won at home. Their fans must be getting a wee bit exasperated that after 7 games at home they are yet to post a win.Still I suppose on the bright side they at least got a point out of their efforts. Unfortunately for Frogner, Owens finished the day by getting a minor butt tweak but it could have been worse.... much worse. |

Barnsley came into this match with an impressive 10 goals in their last 3 matches against a Saskatoon team that has only managed to put 2 past opposing keepers. However Barnsley has conceded 5 goals in those same game, whereas Saskatoon has only conceded 3. This was going to be an interesting game and only an early shot by Barnsleys top scorer Mickley separated them after the full 90 mins. Barnsley had 3 players with skill increases all in the right area, so they would have to be happy with that. They also get Mlekuz their young gun defender back from injury. Saskatoon had a much worse day with their striker Bong bending and spreading with a tackling increase and Alfalfio their other good striker is out for 2 games due to suspension. |

1st vs last, one having scored 27 goals up until this point… the other has let in 40 in the same time. Going on past performances you would have expected Caledonia with the scourge of the 3rd Division Leonardo up front to have romped in, as it was it took the said Leo to deliver the points against a spirited Levski side coming back after a 6-1 whitewash the week before. After 49 mins the unthinkable was on the cards… Levski was 2-1 up and Leo had only managed 1 goal so far. The Levski fans were singing "Leo the Lion the pussy of the Jungle" at the Caledonia man after South Park old boy Aviron put one past the Caledonian keeper to make it 2-1 to the home team. This obviously pissed Leo off because he then put 2 past I_Pulltheballfrommynetalot to give all 3 points to the visitors. Fans... sometimes you just wanna shoot them. All was not lost for Levski as they managed to pick up 3 correct Skill increases, one incredible one to the keeper I_Pulltheballfrommynetalot which seems amazing since he doesn't seem to have actually done much up to this point. As for Caledonia they get Tarkel back from suspension and surprise surprise Leo gets a Shooting increase… as if he needs it. |

Paris manage to hold station with Caledonia this week which they must be glad about. With the difference between Houston in 3rd to Saskatoon in 7th being only 5 points pretty much any of these teams can make the 2nd playoff spot. Although Frogner and Pasmaters are only 7 & 10 pts adrift of 3rd I don't really think they can make it. As for Levski, well they could save their season ..... oh what the hell..... they are for the drop. | |

Only Api and Saskatoon swap places this week. All the rest hold station, with 7 teams not having changed their position in 3 weeks, 6 teams in 5 weeks, 3 in 7 weeks, 2 in 10 weeks and 1 (and we all know who that is) has not moved for the entire season.. (Bastards!) |

Jones still leads but Leo pulls 11 pts back from him to consolidate 2nd, interestingly these 2 played against each other this week and I guess it shows that Leo had a better game… what am I saying, he defeated Levski by himself. |
