Houston's poor run at home continues with a 3-2 loss to the inconsistent Api. Things started badly for Iggys side after Apis Smegovic and Mashburn put 2 away in the first 25 minutes. Houston to their credit came back and looked as if they had earned a point when Scorer and then Medinna scored to bring them back on level terms but a last minute penalty taken by Smeggy ensured Api went home with the points. Houston will be happy though to get the services of Tanker and Narms back from suspension and Solce back from injury. The loss of Cornholio due to suspension will take a bit of the shine off the win for Api, but since they really needed the points I don't suppose Jesus will complain too much. |

Pasmaters 1 - 0 Saskatoon Wanderers I_Lazanga (pas) 25' |
Pasmaters take on the might of Saskatoon this week and even allowing for the very shaky form of Saskatoon you would have thought they would have picked up at least a point against a very out of form Psalter outfit. This just shows that not everything goes as you would have thought and the single goal of Lazanga allowed Pasmaters a very much needed win to bring them within just 2 points of getting out of the relegation zone. More good news for Pasmaters is the increase in stopping for first choice goalie Brumer. Malcolm back from suspension also brightens the news. Saskatoon however will be annoyed with the loss of both the game and Shotdrinker for 1 week due to suspension. |

Spartak Haifa 0 - 1 Caledonia Celtic Leonardo (cal) 15' |
Leonardo ensure that Celedonia stay top of the heap with a 1 goal win over a very goal shy Spartak. This always was going to be a low scoring affair with Spartak having the tightest defence in the Division but one of the worst atttacking records. A total of 8 shots were attempted at goal with it being split 3-5 in favor of Caledonia. The really big difference was that Spartak never once troubled young Pikachu in goal. Spartak are going to be without the services of the old war-horse Rudi for 1 game due to suspension while Caledonia get back Jukov and Bindinho but lose Tarkel for 2 weeks due to his being a very naughty boy. |

Paris Demons 3 - 0 FC Levski D_Droze (par) 47' D_Droze (par) 65' C_Coughlan (par) 74' |
Paris continue their very good recent form to cement the 2nd position just 1 point adrift of front runners Caledonia. Levski on the other hand pretty much cement their position for favorites to be Division 4 champions next season. I keep harping on about this but Levski are just woeful at the back. They have conceded and amazing 34 goals so far this season. That is 3.78 goals average a game they concede. If they go on the way they have so far they could end up letting over 50 in. Pierre get some new defenders. About the only good news for Levski is the rash of players returning from injury and suspension with Ogonukwo, Congo, Bagalot and Tojada all returning. Paris on the other hand lose both Polla and more importantly Droze for 1 game but get Iliev back. Andy will be very happy with both Cosinus and Nixon avoiding a appointment with Nurse Shaft. |

This is the second 2 all draw Barnsley have been involved in within 2 weeks. They are becoming the draw kings as they have shared the points in over half of their games so far this season. This game pretty much followed last weeks game with the first 2 goals being score within 5 minutes of each other and then a last minute (literally) goal to get the away team a point. In a strange coincidence both teams almost mirrored each other in the suspension and injury stakes as well, both teams getting a player back from suspension(B_Happy (fro) S_Warrior (bar)) and both teams losing a player (J_Onkoshi (fro) 2 weeks, V_Mlekuz (bar) 3 weeks) due to injury. |

Caledonia go into the 2nd half of the season 1 point ahead of the Demons who have really got it together after a poorish start. Only 5 points separate 3rd to 8th so the last playoff spot is still in reach for the majority of teams. You would have to say that Levski are for the drop unless something pretty amazing happens. |  |

Jones from bottom placed Levski is still the shining light of the Performers... at least as being consistent goes. The big mover this week was Bindinho who dropped from 4th to 8th because of the fact he didn't play due to injury. |
